Interview with Frithjof Schuon - on Spirituality Back to the List of Slideshows

slide 9 of 9

This is taken from a transcript of a 1995 interview with the eminent
Perennialist thinker and writer Frithjof Schuon (1907-1998).

Question: Is it possible to develop this higher intuition (i.e. intuition through the pure Intellect)?

Frithjof Schuon: There is no need to develop it. Man can be saved by faith alone. But it is evident that a very pious or contemplative person has more intuition than a worldly person.
