Blessing of the Water
“At the end of the afternoon on the third day, the Lodge is filled with blessings. Many people have been doctored, some dancers have taken a fall and received a vision, and the entire tribe has had an opportunity to share in their prayers. Then it is time to bring in the water. They bring it into the lodge and place it in front of the center tree. Enough water is brought in so that it can go around several times among the dancers.”
