World Wisdom invites the submission of book manuscripts that can
contribute to our Library of Perennial Philosophy. To be included in our Library, which
is dedicated to the exposition of the timeless Truth underlying the diverse religions, your manuscript should reflect our Library's ideals and should express the inner unanimity,
transforming radiance, and irreplaceable values of the great spiritual traditions
and related themes. If you are interested in submitting your work, please read and follow
the submission procedure outlined below and complete the Manuscript Submission Application.
(The following applies to submissions to World Wisdom. For submissions of children’s books manuscripts to Wisdom Tales, our children’s books imprint, please click here.)
Submission Process:
- Your manuscript must reflect the themes presented in our Library of Perennial Philosophy.
Please refer to the description of our mission and the brief summaries of the series into which our Library is organized on our About Us page.
- There are two parts to a submission: an application and a manuscript. Your application can be submitted in two ways: electronically by clicking on the link below, or it can be printed out and mailed to World Wisdom. All manuscripts for World Wisdom must be mailed as hard copy — we do not accept initial submissions of manuscripts on disk or
via email. If you prefer not
to submit your application online, you may print out and complete the Manuscript Submission
Application and send it through the mail along with the manuscript.
- Please send us, through the mail, the following items:
(a) If you did not submit an application online, mail us your completed Manuscript Submission Application.
OR
(b) If you did submit an application online, please include a cover letter introducing
yourself that includes your complete name, address, phone number and email address.
(c) A hard copy of your manuscript.
(d) If your manuscript has been translated from its original language, please include
a portion of the manuscript in its original language—this can be the Table
of Contents and one or two representative chapters.
